OUR TEAM
We are a group of regular people who follow Christ and seek to share His love with single parents and their children! Our team includes individuals and churches in more than just Florida. Local teammates work directly with our participants. Others support the ministry through prayer and financial donations. We are trusting God to raise up a much larger team whom He will use to make a difference in the lives of single parent families!
Jim and Carol Sheffield
Jim and Carol are the founders of “My Stepping Stones,” residents of Sanford, members of Grace Community Church of Central Florida, a host family for Safe Families for Children, missionaries with Ethnos360 (formerly known as New Tribes Mission), parents of five wonderful and grown children, as well as grandparents to three great little kids!
It was through their involvement with Safe Families for Children that Jim and Carol were introduced to single parent families in poverty and recognized the need these men and women had for someone to come alongside them and empower them to lead successful lives and build a better future for their families.
Together, Jim and Carol are eager to build a like-minded team that desires to help single parents earn that success one STEPPING STONE at a time!
